MS Reporting Services Admin Login Fix

Synopsis:

While using MS reporting services the admistrative login to the report manager can display no links and no link to the "Site Settings" if certain changes have been made in IIS.

Solution:

This problem seems to occur when either the Reports or the ReportManager Virtual Directory in IIS has Anonymous access enabled. To fix this go into IIS, go into the properties for the Reports Virtual directory and select the directory Security tab. Click on the Edit button to edit Anonymous Access And Authentication. Uncheck Anonymous Access and Click ok. Repeat for the ReportManager directory. After doing this the going to mymachinename/REPORTS should return the proper Admin Page.
